Descripción del libro
Success in life, whether it is beginning a new business venture, climbing a tall mountain or even running a marathon, takes hard work, dedication and focus to achieve your end goal.
Entrepreneurs and marathon runners share similar qualities and go through some of the same key stages.
In “Running a Business from an On-Demand CFO’s Perspective,” senior level finance and accounting professional David Goodstein explains how operating a business is more of a marathon as opposed to a sprint.
For example, business owners and runners need to create a vision and plan to get started. Once they are both working at full speed, athletes and business leaders should create a strategic plan, anticipate obstacles and monitor their progress.
When it comes time to end the running or entrepreneurial journey plan for a graceful exit, whether it’s hanging up your running shoes and trading them in for a yoga mat or selling your company.
One of David’s favorite past times is running. He has completed 19 races and three Boston Marathons.
After being a part of corporate America for 30 years and working at companies such as AMD, Dell and Intel, David recently created an on-demand chief financial officer business, David Goodstein $$$ LLC, out of Austin, Texas.

Necesidades de diseño
This is a business book using long distance "running" as a metaphor.
Themes you may consider:
* running as a team/unity
* showing the struggle
* the success of crossing the finish line
* a morning run/sunrise
We'll want to see business themes blended in as well:
* graphs, charts, briefcase
Lo que debe evitarse
We don't want it to look like a typical running book. It needs to blend business with running.
Both men and women should be featured.
Avoid men in business suits as most workplaces are more "business casual".
