Descripción del libro
It's the year 2206 and aliens are orbiting Earth in a gateway to the stars that manipulates quantum-entangled particles. According to the alien's law, only humans may modify human DNA, to self-evolve our species. The catch is that we must self-evolve into a non-competitive niche in their federation.
Jade Mahelona is a Space Corps Lieutenant with enhanced mitochondria that let her see electric fields. She is tasked with finding out what happened to a lost alien colony on a distant planet and in the process finding a niche for humanity.
As she investigates, she joins forces with a genetically modified, big-brained linguistics professor and two aliens in a race against a rival interstellar empire of power-hungry, amorphous monsters in order to be the first to find the source of power behind the colony's disappearance, only to discover that the power has its own agenda.

I like the blue lighting on this one. But not the small character, not going for a feeling of loneliness.
Don't like broken fonts
The big S at the end makes the name hard to read.
I like these flames but we probably can't do more than 1/4 cover in flames. This has a better (more intense) emotional appeal that the others, which seems good to me.
This could almost work, but please no cape. And black hair, and a figure more like the one on the flame cover.
I like the black, blue, and white background. Not the shape of the ship so much.
I uploaded this one because I liked the font of the title. Seemed professional to me.
The monster on the right gives an idea of the monster I'm looking for (in black with red eyes)
Idea for Ironsides. Good alien. Ironsides: a 5-foot-tall tumbleweed, a briar patch. With a beachball sized inner core from which glowing eyes peeked out. Ironsides: a 5-foot-tall tumbleweed, a briar patch. With a beachball sized inner core from which glowing eyes peeked out.
Idea for Ironsides.
Idea for Quist. Good alien. Quist: a robot that looked like a cross between an insect and a dragon. Six to ten legs, solar panel "wings" 3-4 feet tall and 6-8 feet long.
Idea for Umlac. (Evil enemy monster: A giant slimy black blob with randomly placed red eyes and (shark like) mouths, pinchers and tentacles.
Umlac oozed his glistening black, ten-ton body through a slime-lubricated tube. Umlac draped his huge, glistening body over the edge
A dozen unblinking red eyes stared at her from a gargantuan black blob with a score of Hydra-like pseudopods. Several mouths formed in the creature, speaking in unison,

here are a couple hairball images that remind me of what Ironsides might look like
Hey, team, this looks a lot like the motherships in my book, so if you can use something like this artistically, it would be great. Maybe backcover if can't fit onto the front.
The Solar Defense Force logo on the woman's uniform (ideally center of chest but shoulder works in some covers) is a solar coronal like this from an eclipse of the sun, with a blue Earth in the center of the black circle. Oh, the color of the corona around the Earth is optional... whatever looks good.

Show genre: hard military science fiction, with a spaceship in space and planet(s) or asteroids in the background. Bold white font is likely to show best.
Customize for the story: (be creative, all items optional) female main character. Hawaiian if you use a closeup. Her uniform has a logo of a solar eclipse with blue earth in center on chest (optional) if it would show in a full body picture. Short swords or pistols okay. The villain is a truck-sized black blob with eyes, so maybe one or more (red?) eyes in the dark of space. Flames okay, but don't make the cover too busy. I'm planning a paperback, but want the small cover that will show on Amazon to look great too.
Lo que debe evitarse
