He is a 14 year-old who, as a result of a tragic accident, has lost his arms and legs and is being kept alive. Dad is a nano-tech scientist and develops a method of rapidly constructing nano-machines, and makes enough to form a body for Lucas made of cell-sized nano-machines. The goverment wants the technology for military purposes, but Lucas and his father don’t want the tech to be used for those purposes so they go underground to escape capture.
