Diseño de inspiración
This is my favorite cover of all the examples. Bold, clear, easy-to-read. A single, strong image. Good contrast.
This is a little too informal for my book, but I like the clean, bold, high-contrast look.
Clear text with eye-catching image.
I don't like the white background, but otherwise this is an attractive cover.

Necesidades de diseño
Please don't take the attached mockup too literally. I would like to see many creative ideas that stray from my very stale example.
The one thing I do like about my cover is the title. It is important to me that "United" and "Divided" really pop out of the title, and that these two words are equally emphasized.
I want my cover to communicate professionalism, fairness, and impartiality.
I want a clean and modern look.
The artwork can be creative, but I don't want it to interfere with a clear reading of all the text.
I know I have a lot of text on the cover. I am curious to see creative ways of making this look attractive.
The artwork must communicate neutrality. I don't want to use symbols that communicate advocacy or bigotry.
I really want all the text to be easily readable.
I don't have a specific color scheme in mind, but I don't want a white background. Also, I would like there to be a good contrast in colors.
Lo que debe evitarse
The goal is to portray neutrality, so any symbolism that implies partiality/bias in either direction should be avoided. For example, the rainbow flag is a great symbol to communicate LGBT issues, but it also implies advocacy, so it would not be helpful on the cover.
This is very basic. Don't feel confined by the layout. I am interested in creative adaptations.
