One idea I've been exploring for the cover design is to have several common hyperbole phrases in bold/catchy fonts but as "strike-through", like this: Guaranteed! Breakthrough! Revolutionary! Best ever! and the final line below these stricken phrases, just says in plane font "Your Sleep Story", and the subtitle is "A no-hype choose-your-own-adventure book". The phrases are just examples, i'm open to creative interpretations of this concept. In the book, each chapter is a common sleep topic or question, and the reader starts at the chapter that they are most interested in, and then they may be directed to other sections they might not have thought of (for example, there is a chapter called "I sleep fine", and there we learn about sleep disorders that don't cause symptoms!) As a sleep clinician who is very frustrated at the over-sold promises in the mainstream media, this book is designed to be practical and personalized, and the title design is meant to capture that perspective: no magic bullets - this will help you think through your personal sleep story...
