Daniel L. Prechtel
Rev. Daniel Prechtel is an ordained priest of the Episcopal Church since 1984 and operates Lamb & Lion Spiritual Guidance Ministries since 1993. He holds a master of divinity degree and a doctor of ministry degree. He is a priest assisting at All Souls Episcopal Parish in Berkeley, California and a Benedictine oblate with Saint Gregory’s Abbey in Three Rivers, Michigan. He taught at two seminaries and two spiritual direction training programs. He began formal training in Core Shamanism in 2016 through Michael Harner’s Foundation for Shamanic Studies concentrating on shamanic healing modalities. He also studied with Elizabeth Bergstrom in compassionate depossession work. Daniel maintains the website http://www.llministries.com for his private practice, Lamb & Lion Spiritual Guidance Ministries. He is the author of Where Two or Three are Gathered: Spiritual Direction for Small Groups; and Light on the Path: Guiding Symbols for Insight and Discernment.
John R. Mabry
Rev. John Mabry is a United Church of Christ pastor with more than twenty-five years of active ministry. He holds a master’s degree in Culture and Creation Spirituality and a doctorate in Philosophy and Religion with concentrations in Hinduism and Taoism. Since 2003 he has experimented with Core Shamanism and regularly incorporates shamanic techniques into his spiritual practice. John is the director of the Chaplaincy Institute’s interfaith spiritual direction certificate program in Berkeley, California. He maintains a Facebook account and two websites for his writing—https://www.johnrmabry.com/ for his non-fiction and https://www.jrmabry.com/ for his fiction. He is the author of more than thirty titles, both fiction and non-fiction, including:
Spiritual Guidance Across Religions: A Sourcebook for Spiritual Directors and other People Providing Counsel to People of Differing Faith Traditions; and Growing Into God: A Beginner’s Guide to Christian Mysticism.
Rev. Katrina Leathers is an interfaith minister ordained through the Chaplaincy Institute in Berkeley, California. She also completed the Chaplaincy Institute’s interfaith spiritual direction program and offers spiritual guidance through her One Circle Ministry. Katrina has a master of arts degree in expressive arts therapy. She teaches an introductory course on shamanic practices with the Chaplaincy Institute. She is a graduate of the Three Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing through the Foundation of Shamanic Studies.
