DESIGN NOTES & SPECS:

SUBTITLE: The 7 Essential Pages for Online Business Success
DESIGN DIMENSIONS: aspect ratio 1.5- 3000 (width) x 4500 (height) pixels
AUTHOR NAME: Danny Iny and Jim Hopkinson
BACK COVER: None
SPECIFIC DESIGN NOTES:
The cover needs to look professional, but also compelling and attractive; it needs to be clear, legible, and arrest attention as a thumbnail among many other thumbnails, so consider rich colors, and easy to read, eye-catching lettering. No pastels, or anything faded. We're looking for a bright color scheme that's bold, pops (draws attention), but at the same time is still professional enough to attract the veteran entrepreneur / professional (we don't want anything "kiddie" looking). The colors should be consistent and compatible with our brand colors at http://mirasee.com/.
INSPIRATION TO CONSIDER:
In 2015, we published two books- The Audience Revolution, and Teach and Grow Rich (see attached doc with images). I'd like this new book to be visually consistent in some way.
Source files are attached: Mirasee logo and brand color palette, Design reference material including cover images of above books
With this book, we’re launching a new series of Kindle books and companion Udemy courses, to offer additional resources for our students, as well as to introduce new audiences to our work. So this book cover image will also serve as a brand template, that we can adapt for additional books as well as Udemy course images.
When the contest is complete, we will require the layered PSD file at 300 DPI
Winning designer for this contest may get the job for the ongoing book/course series project (not guaranteed).
DESIGN NEEDS TO ACCOMMODATE FUTURE TITLES
We’re planning to have a consistent look and feel for all books in the series, including:
-Main title font: Same for all
-Look and feel: Consistent for all
-Color scheme consistent with company brand
-Title and Subtitle text: Changes for each book
-Text-free central image that will be changeable for each book (see notes below)
CONSIDERATIONS FOR UDEMY USAGE
As mentioned above we'll also be adapting each book for a series of online Udemy courses related to the book series- where each book will have a companion course that serves as a companion and provides additional resources
The course images are square, similar to an app icon, but without text, so the central image from the book cover will be used in these.
Please review the guidelines and suggestions found here, and incorporate into the book design: https://support.udemy.com/customer/…?b_id=3056
