I think the cover needs to be vibrant. It needs to FEEL like life in the front row. I'm even thinking that the main title "The Front Row Factor" doesn't have to be the big piece. What if Transform YOUR LIFE with the art of MOMENT MAKING was bigger? OR... what if the cover was simple, and there was a very REAL looking ticket on the front, with the book info within it, printed like it's an actual ticket to big concert or sports game?
I'm really open to all ideas, but it's likely 8.5 tall x 5.5" wide. I'm wondering if showing a picture of someone living life in the front row really makes the mark? I've attach some photos of our charities recipients (those people fighting for their lives that we put in the front row) It would demonstrate "this is the best day of my life". I have pictures I can share via dropbox or google drive if needed. Since our charity (frontrowfoundation.org) gives photo albums to each recipient (again, kids and adults with life-threatening illnesses who get a front row experience at the live event of their dreams), perhaps a photo, or several pictures would really help, since a picture is worth a thousand words. However, I'm open to all ideas, even those without pictures. You'll see in the book images I've attached, we're trying to use several pictures from our files. I think they could look great in color, but a designer friend is telling me that because the photos have all been edited differently, without one consistent theme, it wouldn't look good in color, hence the Black & White. What are your thoughts? I'm super excited for this project. The more people that buy this book, the more people we can help with our charity!
