We train local leaders and activists in trauma recovery, counseling skills, and leadership, and self-care so they can heal individual and collective trauma, build resilience, and transform themselves and their communities.
Our workshops use art, creativity, and self-expression. They are inspiring, playful, and joyful. The logo should reflect that sense of joy.
Our innovative, experiential workshops take place in the US, Africa, and Asia, partnering with nonprofits that serve orphans and vulnerable children, women and girls, survivors of sexual and gender based violence, and at-risk boys and young men.
We have been working under the name "Global Gratitude Alliance" and are dropping "Global" and seeking a new logo design in order to bring a simple, fresh, and bold look and perspective to our work.

The most important symbol we use in our training programs is the figure 8, infinity symbol - representing the dance between trauma and healing, between states of activation (fight, flight, freeze) and states of calm (rest and digest) in the nervous system; between healing oneself and healing others.
A secondary symbol we use is the spiral - representing that healing is not linear, but rather is a circular process.
We are open to using one or both symbols in our logo - or creating a logo without a symbol.
We are playing with the following words for a tag line: Healing. Resilience. Transformation.
However, we may decide to change this - depending on how it look and feels with the final design.
