We produce video content for community organizations who are leading an example to produce a product or offer a service that is truly good for our community. We tell their story through video. Most of the work we do is for non-profits, and most of our content plays at fundraising events. It is our desire to “lead” the community toward philanthropic efforts and participating in long-term community investments/projects.
We also develop our team members into leaders and provide an education component to the community to instruct them on media use and its effectiveness.
Our services are video production and storytelling, photography, and event marketing / immersive experiences.
The name “Leader” plays both into the community leadership piece in ourselves and in our clients, as well as, "film leader,” a technical term that describes what comes at the beginning/end of a film reel used to help thread the film into the recording or playback device.

We're liking a gold/black combination on some designs as it gives a classic, elegant film feeling.

>>Utilizing a film reel or camera icon may be too literal; a film strip or sprockets could be a more subtle indication of what we do. I'd like to see designs more like a monogram design (like LF) or vintage crest.
We are changing our brand look and name, but we have been producing video storytelling content under a different name in our community since 2005. We are well established and not fly by night. We are creative, trustworthy, and reliable. We are solid, but not stuffy. A great customer experience and serving with excellence is our priority. We like a more retro and sophisticated look, rather than cutesy, quirky, or startup.
The tagline doesn't necessarily have to be included in the logo.
