Dancing Vine will be a blog to communicate the importance of biodynamic practices in viticulture for wine professionals and oenophiles. My posts will be about meeting local, small-producing wine makers and what they offer with their story. Food & Wine pairing reports will be a major component as well. My goal is to get the site launched by the end of January 2015. Within this next year, I hope to start a business of my own in the wine world - either a wine bar or become a distributor. My target audience will obviously be professionals in the wine business and those who appreciate wine and biodynamic practices.

I was once a ballerina and dance is a big part of my social life. I've looked at vineyards and recognize that vines are very graceful in their stature. Plus, as a wine professional grace is of the upmost importance. Biodynamic viticulture puts emphasis on creating wines with minimal intervention - allowing the fruit from the vines to express itself as close to nature as possible. This means no pesticides and treating the earth very delicately to enhance the relationship between healthy vine to tasty wine. The logo must have some sense of this natural balance. I'd say keywords for the creative process would include: grace, nature, earth, vines, and elegance.
