"Redefining the Expectations of Recycled Parts". Raising the bar, High standards, High expectations? Something that lets people know we are far above a junkyard image people have been branded with.

We are an automotive recycling center. We buy wrecked automobiles and sell the parts to wholesale and retail customers as an economical and environmentally friendly option. Our primary audience would be collision centers (body shops), mechanical repair shops, New Car Dealerships, Used Car dealerships, and any individual looking to fix their car with original equipment from the manufacturer, called OEM parts. What makes the Y-Yard different is that we are far ahead of the "junkyard" image many people still have. We hold very high expectations of our products and our employees. We have high standards, low return rates and see customer satisfaction as our number one priority. We are located in southern Illinois, yet can service clients all over the US and sometimes overseas. yellow and black have been our old colors. Thought of adding in orange. Would like to be able to change the colors of the logo with different marketing pieces.

Years ago we did a checkered flag that looked like a highway across the logo. We want to liven up our logo, make it pop but make it simple. We have a lot of trouble when we embroider shirts because of all the stitchings. Then the checkered road looks awful. The yellow we have had trouble with because the black background bleeds through and turns it mustard color. Want something to pop. I will include our old logos but we don't want to use those. We had someone local work up a logo for our delivery trucks so it would stand out on the road. It is the one with the orange oval. It's too big and way too busy for a shirt design or letterhead work.
