We had always envisioned the brand of Peeple Inc. to be a wordmark only, but we are not opposed to a simple, original geometric shape or logo accompanying the wordmark. We also like the idea of a clever negative space design or clever integration/combination of characters/glyphs. The finished logo should be versatile in that it isn't constrained by significant width, is easily reproducible in Black and White or monochrome, and can also be used in negative/reverse. We're not married to Sans or Serif wordmarks, but professional, modern are keywords that feel Sans-Ish to me. Perhaps we'll be wowed by a semi-serif- We're looking forward to seeing what you come up with! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions- we endeavor to be as responsive as we can.
FIRST REVIEW UPDATE (Nov 22) -
We don't like the feel of a wordmark with all lower case letters, and many of the simple geometric designs that we thought we would like, have come off feeling a bit too disconnected with the brand. We like the idea of sliding things towards a more literal logomark - perhaps with a person or people, albeit remaining simple. Some of the stylized "P's" are still appealing to us, however.
NOV 24 UPDATE:
We're thrilled with many of the concepts that have come in so far, and we're so excited to work with many of you in the next round the only update we can offer at this point is that we need to ensure that if we select a logo with a "person" or "People" shapes the logomark, that we ensure that it's gender neutral. Of course, a tie says "business" but it also says "male" so we need to be careful about that.
