GenYgolf is a growing social golf club operating in Victoria, Australia. Having been founded in July 2014 the club has grown from humble beginnings to be one of the fastest growing golf clubs in Australia with over 700 active members. Targeted at 18-45 year olds the club is leading the industry in providing golf to this demographic.
The club offers an official Golf Australia Handicap, the ability to enter social scores for handicap purposes, 24 events in an elite GenYgolf Amateur Tour, 4 Premium Events throughout the year, Golf Travel packages, 8 free rounds for members at Melbourne’s premier courses, discounts on green fees at over 20 courses and much more.
This coming year is a critical and exciting one for the club. Part of this is a rebranding that we want to put in place prior to the year kicking off. The year will be the third that holds the branded “GenYgolf Amateur Tour”, along with redesigned events, major prizes, 3 interstate trips and membership enhancements.
We are looking at a rebranding of our logo and subsequent stationery, business cards, flyers alongside the rebranding going into our newly designed website. This will allow the club to start fresh, showcasing new enhancements to the business.
Being a golf club we want the logo to feature a golfing theme to differentiate us as a golf club.
The designs must be contemporary with a cool, creative edge to appeal to our main demographic of 18-45 year olds.
The logo does not have to incorporate our business name as it currently does but we want it to be instantly identifiable as GenYgolf. Perhaps there can be an icon version and a version that includes the ‘GenYgolf’ wording so they can be used in specific circumstances.
Apart from that we would like some edgy and modern options.
Colours we can be flexible with depending on the flair of the design.
GenYgolf Corporate Colours:
As part of the branding design it would be good to have some corporate colours that we use for our designs, website, email templates, communication mediums and even our Corporate wear for our events etc. These can be in line with colours used for the logos requested above. A pallete of about 5 or 6 colours would be best with a couple of over riding colours. At this stage we are also up for options to this.
Thoughts on Colours:
Black, Silver, White, Navy Blue stand out as colours that apeal to us but we’re open to colour palette suggestions for any design above.
