The Asylum Group is the parent company of multiple media companies that embrace the ideals of a collective in which all benefit from mutual partnership. Under our banner, we produce everything from documentary and unscripted series to edgy scripted fare and branded pieces, all to be distributed domestically, internationally or online. Our business model is based on partnership, and we truly believe that, through cooperation, we all rise together. Within our group are all kinds of partners of varying size, personality and brand, so our logo needs to feel that it can complement almost any other type of logo and still make sense. We’re looking for something that’s white label, cosmopolitan and hip, but not corporate, stuffy or intimidating. We are definitely not looking for anything that’s silly or loaded with bright colors. While the Asylum Group may be a new entity, it is led by, and made up of, established and respected content producers who have built a reputation as being straight-talking, transparent and open-minded, which we would like to see represented in our logo. Difficult task? We know! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

I think the most important thing to stress is that this parent company is designed to really highlight and raise up our partners, so while some of them may lean into specific niches or be quirky creatives, we can be seen as the grown-ups in the room. Our clients can be anything from major brands to big TV networks like CBS and Bravo, as well as funky start-ups and digital platforms. We want to keep it classy, but not feel exclusive or corporate. We want our clients and partners to know we are forward thinking, but also have the skills to create the machines needed to keep up with the constantly evolving business.
