The Garage on 25 is an artisan community made up of over 80 vendors who design, build, collect, repurpose, recycle and create. If you are looking for locally made, handmade, one of a kind items, this is the store for you. Our artists specialize in jewelry making, pottery, furniture, lighting, vintage clothing, wood working, retro items. upcycling, mid-century modern collections, and antiques.
The store also hosts craft design and art classes as well as a coffee shop.
Because the store is located at a high traffic intersection in mountainous Fletcher, NC the store draws from visitors to the Asheville/Hendersonville area looking for art, jewelry, and one of a kind decor items created by local artisans.

Diseño de inspiración
Logo will be critical for Exterior signage and website / social media recognition. Given the store name uses Garage we need a strong logo that conveys the artisan collections and not a car garage or tire place. There are a lot of upcycled and hand crafted items created by local artists. We want to convey the Local element. That's what the customers are looking for. There is a profile of each artist/creator displayed with their collection. The experience for the customer is connecting with the artist and their style and experssions through artwork, furniture, personal or decor.
All items are moderately to full priced to reflect the high quality creativity and craftmanship reflected in each item. So we don't want the logo to convey cheap or discount items.
There are a number of competing stores in the area selling antiques, and many are using the rustic teal color in their branding, so we want to see color concepts NOT using this color.
In past brand efforts we have included an old truck image, but we want to explore other options. An object/graphic can be included in the logo but it cannot constrain the brand to one category.
For the Finalists - We want the logo to reflect a more RETRO look (50's-60's) with the font and graphics. I have attached additional images to the creative brief to provide inspiration.
I have also added images of some of the items being sold by the Artisans in the store.
We would like to see at least one design that includes a pick up truck from the 50's. The design could include the entire 50's truck image or parts of the truck.
During the first round we got a number of logos with just G25. We want to stick with the store name "The Garage on 25" for the final logo.
Also note - we have updated the Tagline to "Local Handcraft Market"
