At this point in time Deliveroos competes with the low end of subcontractors in the couriers market.
The market is set so that the clients hire contractors in big contracts and therefore the latter let the work out to subcontractors who are mainly owner-drivers (sole traders). The profile of these owner-drivers are the one of self-employer professionals who invested in vehicles to create themselves a source of revenue. These individuals are commonly immigrants with very little english but with plenty of experience in the market as they’ve been carrying the work for years.
The first fold of our business model is to create a cashflow positive company out of the following competitive advantages:
•Professional Customer Service - operators with good english and systemised processes are put in place to solve issues;
•Clean and reliable vehicles, so that the contractors feel well - represented
