black, red, white, open to suggestion, yellow? not really in love with the black red white color scheme, but all the youth that come through seem to all use those colors for their styles.

this really is a community project. when open to the public, we look like a greasy bike shop with a small cafe on a cute pond next to a very busy freeway. for years our priority has been to make the space function for the community and for the youth it educates with job skills.
our business model refurbishes old bikes, reclaimed wood & sometimes even vintage espresso machines & teaches youth on these old time tested models. so, a classic design aesthetic that predates the 'web 2.0' look entirely that will hopefully translate from some of the sample images I uploaded would be ideal. these old logos are very much still a part of our lives & should be represented in our identity. we like the victor vineyard logo design for its clever use of font as graphic, as well as the edge of the label connoting the region it hails from. we also have many high school age kids come through the program that enjoy a more mainstream aesthetic such as the nike logo.
we are finally getting to a point where we would like to communicate a coherent image as an organization. attached is an image from the freeway overpass adjacent to us. the other image is from a web developer we have been working with to overhaul our website which we really like prior to getting in touch with 99 designs & will go live soon .
we love the locale of the business think it would be cool to incorporate this 'somehow.' our executive director has a background in the arts and yet for years has been stumped on how to incorporate bikes, boats, coffee & the location in a simple image. we don't need to do that but perhaps consider it.
