We've been in business for a long time but our existing logo feels too serious & dated. Looking for something fresh, fun, edgy that says "you can trust us, we're smart. Plus, we're fun! We'll take your work very seriously but we don't take ourselves too seriously." Very important that the logo works in black & white, although it's fine too if there is a color version. I'd like a wordmark but not ONLY a wordmark -- the logo should stand on it's own as a logo or stand on its own as a wordmark.
I'm very fond of coin operated binoculars like the images I uploaded with this request, and already feature them on my website. I love the idea of incorporating that into my logo.
