Studio Oak is a design studio for interior and concept development. We design for restaurants, bars, hotels, shops, offices and individuals. The philosophy of Studio Oak is actually very simple; design and produce beautiful and sustainable interiors in which people stay with pleasure. Sustainability, customization and the story behind the design and product are central to all our activities. Our designs are characterized by simplicity and craftsmanship and that results in beautiful and distinctive interiors. Key words that suit us are: Stubborn, surprising, guts, tough, make people happy, distinctive, out of the box. We do what we like and want to have fun.

Studio Oak consists of Folkert van der Kooij and Laura Fransen. In addition to Folkert and Laura, freelancers are used and a project team is put together for each project, whereby small and large projects are designed and realized. Folkert is the man within the duo and provides the masculine and tough touch within the projects. Laura is the woman in the duo and provides the feminine touch. The combination of both ensures complete and surprising results. In addition to a word mark, we also search for a icon in our logo.
