I am the owner of an online-shop for vintage wrist watches called
"Vintage-Oyster". The "Oyster" stems from the oyster case, which
houses most Rolex watches. But I don't believe that an oyster should
be part of the logo... But use it if you think it should.
Products: I am selling Swiss wrist watches, mostly from the 50s-80s
from well known brands. 70% are Rolex watches, the rest are Omega,
Heuer, Tudor and others.
Clients: I sell mostly to the EU, the US, Australia, Switzerland, HK.
Buyers of expensive used watches differ a lot. They can be elderly
collectors who like nice old gold watches. These are often buyers of
watches from the 50s/60s. They can also be younger technical freaks
who like the complications of a watch. These are buyers of 70s-recent
watches There are also fashion people who look for a beautiful
accessoire. And of course there are vintage fans, who buy all kind of
vintage products. But they probably all have in common that they are
looking for quality, sustainability and also luxury.
Thus for me it's difficult to tell whether the logo should be
traditional/classic (vintage) or modern (technical).
I am Swiss, based in Switzerland and I am selling Swiss watches.
Switzerland is certainly important for my business. But I am not
really sure if this should reflect in the logo. At the moment I have a
swiss flag on my website: vintage-oyster.com.

My website is titeled "Vintage Oyster - the swiss vintage watch shop".
I am not sure if this should/could be part of the logo.
I like the infinity symbol. If it could make sense as part of the
logo, this would be nice. But of course that's not a must, as it
probably couldn't make sense...
For the title of my website I used the font "Century". I thought
that's somehow classic but not baroque.I would also use this font for
my logo, but of course take the one you think fits best.
