My business is essentially a retail business full of magical ideas and stimulating objects, its purpose is to stimulate creative thinking and ideas by showcasing unique and magical things that have fantastic stories behind them. People can purchase some of these - or not. Success will be measured more by people leaving feeling stimulated and alive with new ideas and wild love of the present. My business partner Enzo is a little terrier - ie a dog, but he is also a mystical guide and creative talent. I am an Englishman who has travelled the world with my hat and cane in search of the wondrous and enchanting. Together Enzo and I want to bring provocation and stimulation through our creative store.

Because Enzo is my partner I need him to be present alongside a caricature of myself in the logo - we should both in fact be caricatures, not literal representations of ourselves. I dress in the style of Oscar Wilde while my pup is ever at my side, he keeps me safe from the often vulgar aspects of the world. He is also full of great ideas, a little canine spark plug of creative thoughts. Our store front is more in keeping with the older parts of St Germain in Paris or Portobello Road in London - and yet our store is in Malibu California . We are proudly elegant and old fashioned, with a slightly modern sense of style and a lot of fun and wit. We read poetry, spin to John Coltrane and drink in hedonistic good times, but always with an eye on our dandyish style and a curatorial zeal for the beautiful and remarkable. Rather than business cards and logos, we rather think in terms of calling cards and family motos and crests, ' semper fidelis'.
