We are looking to target any potential clients who are looking for a holiday to Vietnam put together by experts who live in Vietnam, know the country and the culture and have over a decade experience in tourism management and professional golfing.
Based on our experience and connections, quite simply we can design and facilitate holidays which regular travel agents cannot. Unlike other travel agents we are not looking for the highest volume of clients but we are looking for the discerning traveller who is not looking for the cheapest holiday but rather the best quality holiday put together by experts that also represents value for money. We can offer holidays not attainable through regular agents and they need to know they are in good hands they are prepared to pay for quality. We want the brochure to reflect and appeal to this type of person and stand out from the rest by being completely unique.
Age, gender, location, education is really irrelevant providing they are prepared to pay for a quality holiday.
¿Qué idea tienes, qué estilo te gusta para tu brochure?
Yes, we want it designed like a golf score card - tri fold 6 pages front and back. (see below). We want it to appeal to the kind of target audience noted above but look classy and appealing, through minimal attractive and enticing text and stunning imagery. Although we are called Golf Life Tours a lot of what we do does not have any golfing arrangements so we don’t want to be seen as appealing only to people who are golfers but your anyone looking for a quality holiday.
It should appeal to the more discerning traveller, not on a budget who is looking for quality, not the cheapest price. The primary purpose of the brochure is to generate enquiry. It will not be text heavy nor image heavy rather rely on visually enticing images which flow throughout the overall brochure. Ideally where possible – one primary image per age with the text sitting well with that image so it does not look jointed. When unfolded the brochure must have as much ‘flow’ as possible and not just look like random images stuck together.
Although it seems our vision is quite specific we are quite aware we are not designers by any stretch of the imagination and a lot of what we ‘have in mind’ may not be possible for a variety of reasons. We are open to ideas (big or small, text changes images, ideas to change whole pages…anything) to guide us in the right direction with the overall purpose of what we want form the brochure – generate enquiry and business to the right type of traveller - so please do not be afraid to throw some ideas out there.

My photos aren't the greatest but the ones labelled preferred ones (first) i have put in terms of style are more related to those images usually being close u and intriguing - the travel company abercrombie and kent seems to like and use a similar sytle, as noted happy to be guided on images to suit what you guys as the experts think with the overall design brief.
N.B. we will still have to provide some better mugshots for myself and Paddy (co owner) which will be provided.
