Joining hands: working more effectively with Indian women and families to effect change (please note: this is the project name - we don't have an organisation name)
Cuéntanos a qué tipo de público quieres llegar
This booklet is aimed at workers from support agencies in Melbourne, Australia (such as women's services, family violence services, community lawyers, housing workers, etc) who work with women and families from the Indian community, as well as police and other government agencies. So it needs to look professional but also in touch with the community (it is produced by volunteers from the Indian community). This resource aims to encourage cross-cultural practice and engagement on the part of service providers with multicultural communities. The topic is sensitive - family violence - so the brochure needs to be cognisant of this sensitivity.
