We have a new marketing effort planned, called one million buttons. Our hope is to have one million people use the iGive Button (its a browser add-on for IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome).
The Button will be a "thing", not just a graphic. That is, we'll be asking folks "Do you have the iGive Button installed". Or, Get the iGive button.
The Button will be used in a variety of places (online and offline).
In one context, the Button will indicate the state of a donation. That is, it'll need to be "Green" or Glow Green. If the user has additional actions that he or she needs to take, the Button will be "red".
For instance, the Button may appear on a participating website in a neutral state. It may used on a landing page promoting iGive.
It may get printed out and used to create a physical Button, complete with a pin.
Therefore, the button needs to come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and be vector graphics so that we may scale it appropriately.
The Button should include the iGive logo (the dandelion seed).
