Aranja spider mascot

Aranja

We are company named "Aranja" (coming from the spanish word Araña) meaning spider. We are a web development studio and, like spiders, we develop webs.

The audience is mainly the employees of Aranja. We will be using it on stickers and on wall decals, but it will also be used on social media.

We want a spider mascot that is friendly looking. We really like Github's "Octocat" and Ember's "Tomster" mascot, that is: it's friendly, simple, customizable and works as a silhouette.

We like 3 things about the reference picture attached: the pose, the eyes and the blue shades of color.

A characteristic we're interested in is a large head compared to the body. Fluffy (or hairy) rather than smooth.

A big plus is if the spider's front legs were actually usable as "hands". We'd like the character to be able to hold a cup of coffee for example.

The mascot will be used for web, stickers and wall decal.
