WE NEED AN APOTHECARY ELEPHANT, A PHARMAPHANT.
Since our customers age ranges from 0 to 100 years, from slightly ill to deadly serious ill, the main challenge is to create a figure that is not to childish but not to serious either! Just the right amount of goofy and seriousness to cheer up ill children but at the same time not misplaced to give a patient who has only a few weeks left to life a bit of hope and happiness!
The archetype of an apothecary is male, wearing a coat.
We would prefer male because it rather meets the expectations of our customers. He probably should be older. If possible, create a figure you would like to talk to about your problems and seems able to solve them. He needs to be trustworthy. May be a bit like Santa Clause as apothecary elephant. He should look interesting for children and adults equally.
We picture him like this. But less frightening more friendly. In general the body should be elephant, not in detail but in general, overweight, the hand and feet should still look like elephant with a human touch, so that he can hold objects, dressed with only a coat, maybe shirt and tie but not more and the head should be humanized. You should recognize friendly, welcoming and intelligent characteristics.
But any style is welcome. Sometimes you only know what you want, when you see it.
The design shouldn't look misplaced when put next to our logo (attached file). Put our Logo (only the read elephant head with bowl and snake) on his coat, right side out of his position at breast hight. We would like to see him with and without tusks. We prefer him with tusks but if it affects the trustworthiness to much draw him without. We want to use the figure for different purposes. As highly recognisable mascot for advertising but also to explain procedures. For example, how to order via our website/webshop and what happens after you hit the order button. As mascot, we need him in a friendly, welcoming position.
