Training and Development Guru
I’m positioning myself as ‘guru-in-training’ on a quest to know everything there is about being a Training and Development Manager/executive.
The blog gives the answers to questions that new Training and Development Managers of larger, corporate firms may have – the questions I had, and had to search really hard to find answers to.
I write in a humorous, personable style, a bit self depreciating but with good content.
I believe being professional is getting really great outcomes for your clients, not by being ‘oh so terribly serious’ all the time. Looking for a design that reflects this and makes it super easy for people to read, navigate and share. At the same time – I don’t want a ‘silly clown’ design - it needs to be credible to corporate-suit-wearers (which is what I am too..)
Check out my blog for an idea of who I am and my writing style: http://www.traininganddevelopmentguru.com
This design request is specifically for a BLOG not a website. Hence, the design needs to suit the functionality and usability of a blog from my community’s perspective. The winner will also be contacted in the first instance when I need to business cards and logo.
Thank-you. I’m immensely grateful and will happily put your company link at the bottom of my blog. I’ll also ask you directly in the first instance when I need to have any further design work done – which would be a logo and
Corporate Training and Development Managers of larger firms, and those looking to step up into executive Training and Development roles. Predominantly women (probably 70/30 split) aged 30 – 55. And a market of up and coming T&D Managers in the 25 – 30 age bracket. Most of them will be ENFJ or similar on the Myer Briggs Type Indicator scale: http://www.personalitypage.com/ENFJ.html or ENTP http://www.personalitypage.com/ENTP.html
Most will not be very familiar with blogs, twitter or flicker. Those 35- 45 may not even have Facebook. Consequently, they don’t leave comments on my blog – nee dto make the opportunity to leave a comment really obvious and visisble.
Please see attachment for full requirements.
I will also need a logo and business card in the near future and will contact the winner in the first instance
Cheers & thanks!
