Book Cover for Comedy Thriller: Garage Band
Here's the blurb for the book:
"Nothing to do with music. Everything to do with getting even.
Lanthus Trilby worked for Eastland Insurance for seventeen years when he finds himself retrenched with no warning. He is about to be replaced by younger, brighter, more dynamic people as Eastland merges with an emerging firm. Enraged, the passive, back-room actuary seeks revenge on his ex-boss for his unfair dismissal.
A random meeting one night in a bar leads Lanthus to his grand plan for revenge. The once-shy and quiet actuary must now transofrm to become a criminal mastermind as he plots an event that will cripple Eastland, and send a message to his ex-boss, Brian: you shouldn’t have! Lanthus assembles an unlikely team – a hacker, and explosives expert, a cage fighter and a pir of acrobats to pull off a the most daring hostage situation the world has ever seen, and hold Eastland to randsom. But can he stay one step ahead of the relentless Detective Muller and the entire police force in his single minded quest for revenge?
Garage Band is a witty, light hearted comedy/suspense that keeps you in stitches while you balance on the edge of your seat. "
The main focus of the book is Sandton City, a shopping complex and landmark in Sandton, Johannesburg. The book is set here, so perhaps some imagery linking the book to the iconic landmark. However, I don't the cover to be a photographic representation. The cover needs to be simple, ingenious, more abstract, and has to grab the viewer's attention at the first glance.
The cover must bear the tile of the book: "Garage Band", and the tag line:
"Nothing to do with music. Everything to do with getting even."
and the author's name: "Adam Rabinowitz".
The back cover needs to have space for the bar code, and must showcase the blurb as included above here.
