We are looking for four new graphics to help illustrate common themes related to our services in productivity. I found a couple examples of the level of simplicity and conceptual illustration we are seeking and have attached them. Illustrations should be minimalistic, clean and simple using monochromatic coloration and minor use of text as labels (we prefer sans serif fonts like Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Georgia and Droid Sans). They should easily convey concepts to viewers without additional explanation.
You DON’T need to use the concepts below, but in addition to the two examples attached below, here are some ideas to help you get started:
A team aligns on a project by planning that project top to bottom, listing requirements to shape the project, and using lessons learned or information from past projects to shape the path of work before executing the project.
Before a meeting starts, an agenda is created with topics and times allotted for each topic. This helps keep the meeting focused and optimally uses the time for the meeting. A separate section of the agenda can be used to capture off-topic ideas that the groups would like to follow up on outside of this meeting.
When a project is completed, there is a formal organization of its components: lessons learned and other valuable information (time estimates, vendor information, etc...) is collected to create templates for other future projects.
Is there a different way to show what focus vs. procrastination looks like?
Is there a different way to show what thinking, planning, and executing looks like?
What would a visual presentation of productivity be (vs. lack of productivity)?
What would a visual presentation of efficiency be (vs. inefficiency)?
What does your brain look/feel like when you are organized and focused?
How would you illustrate how discovery (research) and analysis influence the planning and execution of work?
How do you spend time on a project when you don't plan ahead vs. how do you spend time on a project when you do plan ahead (considerations for focus on tasks, re-work, aligning with other people on the project, etc...)?
