Looking for a deer like creature called the NEOX.
Five foot tall, four-legged creature with a long (think elephant trunk) and headless neck. Circular mouth at the tip of its neck with flat rounded teeth. Does have two beady red eyes buried deep within its neck mouth. Not necessary though.
A skittish scavenger. Has short matted brown hair. Found during the start of a storm in a lush green forest at dusk.
Really dig a woodcut, line drawing. Black and white or color is cool. Something you’d find in an old folk or fairy tale book.
