design the 3 elements of a new “Deep Sea laboratory System” to be used to describe the system on the company website. The goal is to have a system description webpage like the one used by SpaceX to describe its rocket (ref: http://www.spacex.com/falcon9 ). The look of the elements (especially the RODS™ module described below) must feel exactly like the rocket on SpaceX website. Whether you prefer to use 3D or 2D is your choice but it must looks the same (front view, coloring, light, shades).
What the winning design must include:
The system being developed is an offshore system composed of 2 elements: a “Surface module” that will float on the ocean surface, and a “deep sea module” that will be immersed 1,800 feet deep. Here’s what you need to create:
1.The front view of the “Surface Module”. It must look exactly like the reference pictures I included (ref: Surface Module image 1 through 3), but needs to be white, feature an american flag sticker, a small door (like on a space capsule) and another sticker spelling the words “NEREO STATION” in caps, blue, and the bold version of the DIGITAL font (download here: http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/DIGITAL.htm . Dimensions of the module: 2.0m diameter at the base, 70cm diameter at the top. The module is 2.0m high (corresponding to the yellow part on the picture), 2.7m high including the top (instruments). The underwater part is a pipe case and is around 1.5m high.
2. The front view of the “Deep Sea module” must look exactly like the reference picture (ref: Deep Sea Module Image) but displayed vertically (without the stand of course). Colors are the same: white body with metallic edges on both sides (and the small pipes coming out of them), 3 metallic reinforcements on the body. On the white body: feature a small american flag sticker at the top, as well as a small “NEREO STATION” sticker right under it. On the rest of the white body, the word “RODS” needs to appear vertically in the the same blue font (DIGITAL). FYI, this module will be 80 cm wide and 500 cm long.
3. The inside view of the “Deep Sea module”must be a nice version (in vertical front view) of the schematics I included (Ref: “Inside Schematics). A click on the Deep Sea module described above will reveal this inside design. No need to include too many details, it will be used as a general description of the technology. For the amount of details required, you can use the reference included (Ref: “Example of inside design”).
