This infographic is about state subsidies to the mining industry in Australia. The actual numbers for this infographic are still been finalised so I will describe what i want the graphic to look like and then when the numbers are finalised you can just insert them in.
the title should be 'What are mining subsidies costing you?'
Below the title there should be a map of Australia broken up by state. Each state, except ACT, will have $ figure on top of it. The size of the $ figure should be proportionate to the size of the subsidy.
Queensland should have very large $ figure on top of it because it gives the most subsidies.
NSW and Western Australia should have a medium size $ figure
The rest of the states should have a small size $ figure
ACT should be left blank.
These $ figures are the numbers that I will get to you soon but for now just put a $X on top of each state with the size of the $X matching what I stated above.
Below the map of Australia there should be a line that says 'And that is on top of the $4.5 billion in mining subsidies from the Federal Government'.
Beneath this should be a closing line that says 'Each dollar going to the mining industry isn't going to health, education and emergency services'.
You can try and illustrate this line visually if you like.
There should also be a footer at the bottom with space for our logo and references.
