Digital Painting: Futuristic Robot Lab in a Castle

Digital Painting: The scene is of a mad computer scientist (about 30 years old with wild hair sticky up, fun & wacky guy) working to attach an arm on a robot girl. In the background, we see the futuristic setting of his robotics lab. There will be a robot arm behind him. We had developed a cartoon illustration of the scene, which I like (see file below). But I wanted it to be more of a digital painting style. The second version we developed is not quite there, it's unsophisticated and looks like it's from the 1970s... I would like to develop a more polished, sophisticated digital painting version of this scene. More about the scene: Close by are 3 other robot women hanging out (their style similar to the image I attached). Two of them are sitting on a couch chatting with each other. One is standing and watching the computer scientist do the operation. Then, you see another 3 of them standing in a charging station in the background. (I can supply images of the women in the charging station - they would all be like the girl with the red hair). Two girls can be seen waving from 2 different windows in the castle. But preferably not one on either side so symmetrically like in the image. <<<The most important part of the context is the castle and the interior scene, the characters are not important, in fact, we may even end up supplying our own characters in PSD format. It's most important to get the interior background and exterior castle correctly>>> The spirit of the image is colorful, whimsical, futuristic and fun. Not futuristic and scary. I've included some interior and exterior inspirations and styles. By the way, the helmets I had included represent more of an interior high tech style.

Deliverable: - PSD and jpeg files - Please put the castle, the binoculars, the interior scene, and the characters, all on different layers. I would like to develop a high resolution square image 4,200 x 4,200. But when cropped to a 4,200 x 2,363 landscape-orientation rectangular area (16x9 ratio), the image should contain the main scene in the binoculars and be roughly positioned where it is shown in the cropped picture. It should contain some cool architectural details of the castle, for example, it would be nice to have a full turret in that scene (on the left most part of the page). To make it clear that it’s a castle we are looking at.
