MESSAGE FROM CONTESTANT:
Hi, I have a few questions.
What kind of plastic will be used for the toy? Harder or softer? Can
you show us some pictures of toys made from the same material?
What do you mean transparent parts? Do you want the monster to have
transparent parts in it, like ectoplasm, or a glass helm or will the
normal components of the toy just be transparent? Could you be more
specific about this part?
Also, will the toy be composed of one piece or will there be moving
or detaching parts?
After receiving this email, and re-reviewing the description we have
posted, it seems that our description may be a bit more vague than we
anticipated. I hope this helps to clarify.
1. It will be a softer plastic. It is likely that the "monster" will
be incorporated with a light, like a night light. So, parts of it will
2. Transparent parts mean that the plastic will be such that light
can shine through. Not all parts need be transparent, however. Depends
on the design.
3. Practically, I don't see how there will be moving parts due to the
light component. Therefore, I think that the answer should be "no
moving parts" and that it is "one piece".
4. There are various different types of items out there that have
similarities to what we envision (links below). While these are
similar, we do anticipate some changes and different components (which
are currently not something we can add to this information). However,
it is fair to say that design features that we are asking from our
designers may be most similar to that of Kinderglo and Disney, links
