Is a constructor guy building a project, and he start having a lot of problems because he doesnt has bim.

Bim is a new technology that not all the construction industry is aware yet.

This constructor have problems when:
3d modeling: the owner imagine a very diferent facade of the building so bim brings a render to show how the front view looks. The architect shows the picture and the owner doesn't expect more.

Square footage: he makes wrong deliveries of the material because he doesnt know how many sf of tiles he needs, but when he uses bim he knows how many material he needs and for when.

- Material quantification: the plans are confused sometimes and all the material that is inside of an exterior wall can be missed. Bim gives you a 3d simulation of every layer of the wall so the constructor doesn't have problems with the quality inspectors for miss an insulation in the wall.

- Cost estimation: The typical problem ever you as a general contractor expect doing an amont of money. Bim gives you detailed prices of every single material until you get a total cost.

- Mep Coordination: (MEP=Mechanical Electric Plumbing) The 3 trades most of the times work alone and draw separate designs of how the ductwork or wires or pipes goes through the walls and ceilings. Bim brings a one 3d simulation of how all of them goes together.

- MEP Clash detection: The 3 trades most of the times clash between each others, and have to redesign other way to pass their materials. Bim shows where they are clashing, so they can coordinate to get a resolution off the problem in the computer instead of the job site.

Bim is a technology that not all the constructor knows, just the very big companies have it in a department of the company. I would like to sell to all the other medium and small companies that doesnt have bim services.

I would like my grandmother or the old antitechnology constructor guy understands the infographic.
