"Yamba" means beginning in Malawi. Yamba Caparica is a holistic boutique beach restaurant & bar/club located in Caparica, 20minutes away from Lisbon, Portugal. The place will have an African influenced decoration and vibe, without falling into obvious clichés. Yamba follows the aesthetics and philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, which embraces beauty as imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. I truly enjoyed a lot the whole creating process and I hope that the result speaks for itself :)

The Flavour Project Brand Identity

The Flavour Project is bringing new chef designed products to the table. Their approach is contemporary with great inspiration in nature and rustic ingredients. The brand visuals are a mix of modern layout and logo and botanical drawings. I illustrated botanical plants to bring rustic element and tell a story about fresh, garden-to-table ingredients. I introduced an element that would bring the experience of chefs guidance closest to the consumer via "Chef Notes". They consist of handwritten or typed notes and advices.

Client wanted a logo for his French wine shop (he also sells wine paraphernalia and fine foods). Merged the "v" with a wine bottle shape. Simple but effective. The main font is heavily edited from the original so it's reasonably unique. I was aiming at a slightly rustic style, more rural France than urban.
