Betterfound is a word of mouth marketplace. As a user you can promote your favorite brands by posting links about them, and if someone purchases or converts through your link you get paid. Brands get the benefit of only paying per conversion, and get a social buzz from the promotion. Our target audience is anyone who is willing to post about their favorite products on facebook, twitter, their blog, or any other place. We want to excite people about the opportunity to work with your favorite brands and help grow them - and get paid for it. We want a landing page to initially collect user emails.

it could be light or dark. Doesn't really matter to us. We like the idea of imagery or animations (background moving - not sure if this is possible through this sort of contest). You'll see attached the spaceman character we use.

This page is going to be the face for betterfound.com for our initial beta - we'd like to collect a lot of signups through it.
Perhaps trying to integrate something creative with our spaceman (maybe floating around in space in the background - not sure if someone can do animations)- but we want it to be fun, catchy, easily shareable, and clearly communicates our messages.
"Help your brands grow" is our slogan - figuring out how to loop that in.
And "Promote your favorite brands and earn cash rewards for each referred conversion" (maybe this in smaller font)
