We're looking for an Awesome designer to make us an inspiring landing page! And move into our regular freelance design team.
Here's a detailed rundown of how the page should look & feel. Please refer to "wireframe 1" to see the general layout of the page.
The first thing customers will see on the page is the title "Shellac Nail Polish" followed by a paragraph of text summarising what it is. This paragraph, and all other text will contain hyperlinks - so make sure that they're easy to see.
After that the page is divided into 2 columns - What is Shellac and How it Works. These titles should be equally important. The images above them will be related to what each of them are talking about. Use "image 1" for What is Shellac and "image 2" for How it Works. There is a call to action at the end of each of these paragraphs - make sure that it is very easy for customers to see and very attention grabbing - without taking any of the emphasis off the actual content.
Next is the "Compare Products" section. You can use "image 3" for shellac "image 4" for s.market and "image 5" for acrylic. This section needs an outline. This should either be a dotted line or change the background colour in this section completely. The page still does need to flow - so we don't want this section drawing any more attention than any other (i.e. don't use an extremely bright coloured background for this section). The comparison needs to be clear - use ticks to indicate that a product obtains said quality - do not use crosses, dots, dashes or any symbol other than a tick. Make sure the text is aligned accurately with the ticks and that there is enough space so that each section is clearly defined. Avoid using a table if possible.
After the comparison we have the "Getting Started" section. Use "image 6" for pic of starting/starter kit. This section should be very similar to the first one with font sizes and image sizes. Once again, the call to action must stand out without being too attention grabbing against the other content.
Next is the range of colours section. Use "image 7" for this. This is the final call to action so it can be a little larger. We are really trying to draw attention to how many colours there are - so make sure the image is big enough that people can actually see the colours.
Overall the page needs to have consistent font use and colour use and consistent image sizing where appropriate. Do not add in any extra images other than the ones provided.
The whole purpose of this page is to inspire customers to give Shellac a go!
Successful winners will have opportunities to design other content for our business.
