Personal development and leadership training for law enforcement personnel around the world. We target police officers who are interested in getting better at their jobs, learning how to be great leaders, and becoming healthier human beings.

The Squad Room is typically the part of a police station where officers congregate to share information and hang out. The goal of our company is to be that place online for them. I need a logo that can integrate with the words in some way but also stand by itself for some branding . The goal is to have a logo that shows this is related to first responders and high achievement. Though we work in online classes and personal development, we want to avoid the old and tired aesthetics of trying to mimic a University or college logo. All the police training companies run by old guys do that. We want to be youthful and energetic. Because 90% of our audience is male we want a masculine and strong font, but something that can still look "clean" and fit in social media posts and not be too intricate. This font will be used in other marketing materials to tie everything together so I'd like it to be a font that's easily accessible so we can match it with other marketing. I would like the imagery to include a badge in some way that helps clarify right away who this is for. We train around the world so U.S.A.-specific imagery is to be avoided (i.e. American flag, bald eagle, etc.) but emergency colors around the world are traditionally blue, red and white so that's okay. A lot of training companies use all three and I lean towards a strong blue and orange combination to stand out but again, I am open to color combos. Any logo needs to be able to look good on light or dark backgrounds with just a change of the primary colors. Our current logo was focused on the podcast but we are moving beyond that so any logo should NOT have a microphone in it but I've included here for reference. You do not need to try remake this logo - I want something different. The colors inside that badge are supposed to represent emergency lights. Lastly, I enjoy logos that are abstract or reveal an "aha" moment when you see what it is. I also like logos that indicate some sort of movement or action is occurring. Nothing too obscure but clever is always fun. Nothing cartoonish or goofy, and no aggressive or hyper-masculine imagery (firearms, spartan warriors, etc). I realize this is a lot of info and that a logo may not contain all of these elements in one concept but I hope it's helpful to give these parameters.

A very talented designer who came through with a clear idea and a LOT of patience. I am new to designing logos and dealing in this world after several bad experiences with cheaper (i.e. crappy) services like Fiverr. M3e3 did a great job and won the job with their first pass. From there, we did multiple revisions to refine it. One thing I really appreciated was their willingness to try some ideas just to see a contrast. They were very careful with the delivery of the final product to make sure it was of the highest quality. I would absolutely use them again.
