Branding Package Needed for Cali-based Vegan Pupusa Company

El Salvadoran plant based pupusas targeting healthy mindful eaters in San Francisco/Bay Area CA.

Pupusas are a savory El Salvadoran food staple. They consist of a thick corn tortilla typically stuffed with meat and cheese. As two California's (one born El Salvador), we believe these deserve a healthy alternative and are opting to stuff them with plant based fillings consisting of fresh farm produce, beans, and vegan cheese. We'd like the blend of El Salvador and California influence to come through in our branding. The name derives from the phrase "nixtamalization" - the process of turning corn into Masa. Owner #1 grew up watching mom make her own masa from corn dad handpicked from their farm! We'd love to incorporate some ode to this primary ingredient/inspiration into the design whether it be abstract or literal. Lastly, the intent is for this to be an upscale grocery product, NOT something sold from a food truck or street cart (although we agree those are delicious). We believe this likely requires a sophisticated logo - but also we are not designers - please help us! We are so excited to get our project going with an awesome logo and find someone to hopefully work through all of our branding needs, thank you!! - Gabe & Kim
