If you google flatboat or broadhorn boat you’ll see a person on the top of the boat with a long tiller navigating the boat. That’s what comes to mind for me. The maritime industry I will be targeting has some unique groups. I will be primarily hired by the company who has slightly more refined people but they grew up on the River. The tow boaters are roughnecks. They all are tough no BS kind of people and span from well educated to barely able to read but they are extremely proficient and are not very flashy. To give you an idea I’ll spend more of my time in work pants and a t-shirt or possibly a polo. With this line of work I’d almost never be in a suit but it needs to clean up well and be suited for the healthcare environment too; just to give you an idea of what the logo can hopefully portray.
