We are an aviation data and consulting company that focuses on taking complex datasets and reducing them to meaningful visualizations. Airline business data is our forte. Visual Approach is also an aviation term when an aircraft lands using visual cues. Airline professionals and executives are our target; a very B2B environment. A major theme to the site and logo will be simplicity. There are other sites that charge a lot of money for access to this data which we will do for free then charge for custom analysis. We will be a sort of open source information hub for the airline industry.

I like the use of the negative in logos, as shown in the attached "pencil" logo. The carrierfilms logo interested me in its way of creating an image out of seemingly random points. That idea fits very well with the website being created. I am also drawn to abstract logos with gradients, orange, in particular. Blues would fit well with the aviation theme, but some sort of accent color would be appreciated. The seeing data image attached shows the logo of a similar business in a different industry. I thought it was well executed. I have also included several charts that I have created to give you an idea of my style, and the types of things that will be on the site. We prefer thin fonts and have come to utilize the Roboto and Raleway thin fonts most often. We do not need to stick with these fonts, but offer this as ideas of our taste and style. That said, I am open to any color pallet, and have the unique challenge of ultimately needing a pallet of about 9 colors with solid contrast (yet complement) to use for multiple datasets in charts. Instead of showcasing the V and A letters in the widget, I'd like to focus on the ideas of "aviation" and "data", in particular the idea of creating an aviation idea out of data.
