Logo for “German Shepherd” Dog Breeder

We are breeders of “East European Shepherds”. This dog looks very similar to German Shepherds. They were bred by the Russian Military.

Here is what I have in mind; a black background. However, the colours in the logo and name must be the same colours as the Russian flag, Red White and Blue (see photo). I don’t want a russian flag in the design however. There needs to be an image of this dog (either entire body, or just Head, OR BOTH) in the logo. I would like people to look at the logo and immediately think these are “German Shepherd dogs”. (I have attached images of this breed). I don’t want the dog on the logo or company to look “aggressive” or like “guard dogs”. Perhaps a “Shield” Can be included in the logo, though not necessary. The design also needs to look good on all black and white letterheads as well. Thank you! One new idea; it may be a good idea to include “VEO” in small letters somewhere on the logo. This is one of the common names for this breed. It would clarify confusion.
