Virtual Bike Buddy provides virtual and hands-on coaching. The owner has been a bike commuter for over 10-years, has over 20 years of experience in education, is a certified road bike coach, mountain bike guide, and currently rides weekly. The owner will be both the instructional designer and subject matter expert. Customers leave coaching sessions with the ability to safely bike to work with confidence based on a custom bike commuting plan, online training, a worry-free, hands-on session guiding them from home to work, and 60 days of open support to answers questions as they arise. The target audience is someone new to bike commuting, yet intimidated by the prep, gear, route-finding, and safety. Although the target is commuter coaching, Virtual Bike Buddy will be open to any adult wanting to build confidence and skill in riding a bike. Most of us started bike commuting with the help of "a buddy," if you don't have that buddy, virtual bike buddy is for you. Final note, we may add bike fitting, bike sales, etc. so we want to avoid pigeon-holing the brand to only one service. When the brand grows it will over overall support for cyclists with a virtual lean, yet the ability to engage in hands-on, COVID-safe, support. Final note, if a bike is used in a more realistic design ideally it's not too aggressive (time trail bike, race road bike) and if a person is used, they should demonstrate good form. If it's abstract, then no worries.
