BugHungry is a sustainable protein farm that grows edible insects for human consumption. We process them into nutritional snack foods. We are targeting health and environmentally conscious people (farmers' market types).

Like the tone. Like the childish writing.
Like the sketched look. Too simple for us
Don't like the shadowing. Don't like how heavy the text is.
Like the colour. Don't like the lack of negative space

Like that this is flowing and organic without looking messy. It is a bit busy though.
We have no preconceived idea about what this should look like. We are relaxed people who like to laugh. We had an idea of a girl riding a bug so run with that if you like the idea; though we're not married to this at all. Incorporating something 'bugish' would make sense. Just don't give us a grasshopper - they get confused with crickets which is our primary product. This logo will eventually be on jar labels and packages. We don't want to look amateurish (we're selling bugs - we don't want people to think we're weirdos), but we don't want to look like we're trying to sell insurance or sports cars either. Clever designs are great, but we are trying to convey sincerity and fun - we're not trying to look cool.
We will very likely follow up with the winning designer to help us with label and packaging design.
