Check Your Privilege® is a game which thumbs its nose at political correctness, forcing players to personify several different political identities and engage with each other in pointlessly heated debate. The idea behind the game is to put players in the shoes of an identity they construct and then defend it, whether they personally agree with the idea’s presented by the labels they use or not. Guised in satirical humor, labels are true to life in one form or another, but whether we're making fun of, or exposing a scathing layer of truth in the label is left completely ambiguous. Labels provide point values, high or low depending on the utility of the card, which is necessary to win the game. Players are incentivized to use as many labels as they can, with little regard for its political or ideological congruency. Once every player has had one turn, the player with the highest privilege points will "Check Your Privilege", after selecting another player to argue with, it's that player's job to convince everyone else in the game to vote for your identity as the benefactor of the Check Your Privilege card. The player with the most points at the end of 6 rounds wins the game.

We'd like the label to be iconic in a similar format to the old BestBuy logo used in reference three, but incorporate the label from reference two in a fun and unique way. This game is fun, satirical, sarcastic, and has a lot of personality, so it's important to us that this be shown in the logo that is designed. The red, black and white label shown in reference two is what we are going for as a driving factor for how the logo is done, but literal interpretations of the label aren't necessarily required. We only care that it does incorporate the label in a fun and unique way. In the white space beneath "Hello I Am...", we'd like to have "Check Your Privilege" written in cursive letters in a way that draws your attention. Please be creative!!
