The current website (http://www.level7.io) shows our current, self-designed logo. We are generally happy with the concept, but feel that it could be visually refined by an expert. The logo is meant to represent several things at once:
- The individual bars rising from left to right in the current logo symbolize our primary service around analytics and improving performance for our customers. This does not have to literally look like a bar chart, but it should ideally echo that idea in some way.
- The colors and number of bars come from the first 7 levels of the spiral dynamics levels of development: beige, purple, red, blue, orange, green and yellow (the 8th color turquoise should not be included). That order is important and should be presented from bottom to top, or from left to right in the order listed. See the attached spiral dynamics image file for color reference.
- We've also attached the standard YMCA colors as defined in the YMCA branding guidelines. We'd love to find a good balance between representing the 7 colors from spiral dynamics, but with an eye toward consistency with the YMCA color scheme, if possible. The colors don't correspond exactly, but if the final logo at least echoes the YMCA palette that would be a great bonus.
- We definitely favor clean and simple, rather than overly complex.
