We are a marine insurance underwriting company. We provide insurance for the cargoes that get shipped around the world. We also provide insurance for commercial vessels and related marine operations. The target audience consists of commercial marine insurance brokers and agents as well as clients engaged in maritime trade.

the name Marcato is a musical term meaning with emphasis and is reflected on sheet music by an inverted letter V with the right side of the letter bolder than the left. (google Marcato for an image)One thought was to have the letter M shown twice with the marcato symbol comprising one part of the full letter M. I have attached a rough draft. This is certainly not a mandatory request but wanted to provide it for the designers to get a feel for the concept. I will be very interested to see what designs are developed.
