We would like to present an agressive, mature, and professional/serious look to our academy as some of our players have been gaining interest from professional clubs and scouts abroad.
The logo does not necessarily need to be presented in the form of a badge, please explore and be creative here. We like the creativity used in several designs at http://www.footballasfootball.com, please review for potential inspiration
*Please do not add cartoony-elements to the design. *Please also avoid the obvious use of a soccer ball.
I further recommend looking to the logos and badges of the Champions League club teams for ideas. I do not have a specific idea in mind as I like the simplicity of Juventus' "J" logo while simultaneously liking the more complex design of the others.
Our website, http://www.formsacademy.com, has more information about our organization, but to break it down succinctly, Forms Academy is the name of our program/soccer school. The most competitive players are considered the alphas and represent FA (Forms Academy) in competitive leagues and tournaments under the team name AlphaForms. Our recreational teams are called the DinoScores, a program that will soon be re-branded as Forms Academy Development program.
Please check out our website formsacademy.com to get a feel for our program and see the badge/logo of our competitive AlphaForms teams. We want to make sure the Forms Academy and AlphaForms logos work well together though they do not need to be too similar to each other as we also to offer camps, individual, and small group training for players representing other soccer clubs.
Our uniforms are made up of navy, cardinal (slightly lighter than maroon), white, and charcoal grey.
Regarding the name:
"Forms" is a nod to Socrates' Theory of Forms; Forms being the most perfect rendition of a physical object or expression, such as technique, skill, and the approach or training towards technique and skill acquisition (T&SA). Socrates posits that perfection of technique, or any Form, can only exist theoretically, as an idea, and though we may come close, true perfection is impossible. Therefore, always striving to improve our own Forms (Forms of technique and skill) with the understanding that perfection is impossibly dynamic, we make progress (Progress Not Perfection) during the process.
